Driggs
Just got my kit today. Question, do the springs press up into the new cap and I do away with the piece that the spring use to butt up against (the piece that use to go up into the cap)? LiftdT4R
The spring does just sit in the top of the cap, its a spring so nothing really hold it there. But there should be a rubber type washer that sits in there too(that will be the only thing there), but if you dont have it its not super important. Hey I am looking to eliminate my tors, where did you get a kit, how much and how hard is it? Thanks
LiftdT4R
I think Vito's sells them. Its not super hard, but you do have to tap a screw into the side of the carb. If you keep your eyes open on fleabay and here you can usually find a set of carbs with the tors removed for as much or less then the kit costs, that way you have a spare set at least. I f'd up, tried to over tap the hole and broke the tap inside the hole!!! When it stops, you might think you can tap it further, but STOP. I had to order a new carb because I didn
LiftdT4R
And make sure that you tap the correct side of the carb too. I had a errr friend that err tapped the wrong side.
