T_Shee
got a sprocket from a guy that got it from rocky mountain atv. it is 13 tooth and fits on the banshee output shaft but the total diameter of it is much bigger than my old 13 tooth sprocket. the guy called rmatv and they said it is the right one. but my question is, will the total diameter being different affect the gearing of my bike or will it be the same since it has the same number of teeth???? BSHEE400
if the size of it is bigger then it will lengthen your gears, maybe one of them was for a different size chain does your chain fit better around one of them? the chain size should be stamped on the sprocket
spurdy
if the size of it is bigger then it will lengthen your gears, maybe one of them was for a different size chain does your chain fit better around one of them? the chain size should be stamped on the sprocket x2. A 13t sprocket is a 13t sprocket. The pitch of the teeth will determine the circumference/diameter. SP
