locogato11283 Posted July 25, 2009 Report Posted July 25, 2009 heavy, overpriced and wear out quickly. Quote
LiftdT4R Posted July 25, 2009 Report Posted July 25, 2009 heavy, overpriced and wear out quickly. Heavy yes, but Ive had mine for a year and a half, with about 20 hours on them and they still look pretty darn good, have at least 80% tread, and thats all trail riding, not on the easiest stuff either. As far as overpriced, i don't think so either, they are on my hipers, and I havent had to plug a tire, or had leaks yet. BTW, what are you running again for a trail tire? Quote
zach45 Posted July 25, 2009 Report Posted July 25, 2009 yea i love my razr2 .. almost the same tread...grip like a motherfucker Quote
LiftdT4R Posted July 25, 2009 Report Posted July 25, 2009 Tires have a lot to do with rider style and preference. Arguing about tires is like arguing about pipes. It really depends on how/where you ride though I havent ran the Razr2s yet, Ive had a couple sets of Razrs, and for the price they get the job done pretty good. If I can ever wear out my HD fronts Id like to throw a set of Razr2s on my Hipers. Quote
TwistedSheeRida Posted July 25, 2009 Author Report Posted July 25, 2009 yea for the trail riding i do around here they work great. have my old set of mudsharks on my stock rims for the roads so i dont think ill have any issues with wear. my wheeler pulls the weight fine they weigh about the same as my mudsharks did. and as far as price i didnt think they were expensive either. the tires are for traction who the hell cares how much they weigh. gain maybe 2 mph with a 15 lb drop. and sacrifice traction f that. plus i priced out those gay yfz stockers that will wear in about 2 days around here and they were maybe 15 bucks cheaper. DallasGDub Posted July 25, 2009 Report Posted July 25, 2009 My HD seem to wear fast. I also ride dry, hard packed dirt and dirt roads. Once they are spent, I want to try knarly. Quote
zach45 Posted July 25, 2009 Report Posted July 25, 2009 my little brothers yfz stock tires suck... i think hes up to 4 plugs now in them... i ride trail... i dont race or jump so a few pounds dont matter to me .. Quote
