I have the jetting specs for your setup written down somewhere. I have the same setup, and I used to run the 28s, they are good carbs, the Mikuni 30s wont be any easier to tune. Ill try and dig out my old jetting specs tomorrow.

Fullthrottle02
I have all the bolt on's you have + a trail port and I'm at 50 pilots. Seems like it just might be staving at idle.
DallasGDub
Do you know what needles you have and what notch they are sitting?
LiftdT4R
I ran a 48 Pilot and 140 mains. As far as the correct needle, if you call up Carb Parts Warehouse and buy stuff from them they should help you out with the right needles. T_Shee
yah id bump your pilots and see what happens. i currently have 50 pilots in my pwk 28s and when i went down to 45's it idled and revved like crap. seemed like it was fouling plugs and had a really bad air leak. but when i put the 50's back in it was perfect again. get some 48 or 50 and see what happens. has it run fine before with this same carb setup?
