liveordie72089 Posted July 21, 2009 Report Posted July 21, 2009 Ok, I started my computer with a normal everyday Hp. Nothing to special. I then bought a AMD Athlon 64 times 2. I then spent about a day figuring out what type of graphics card I should run either ATI or Nvidia. Beings that Nvidia is my favorite of all time I definitely picked it. I bought a Nvidia Geforce 8800 Ultra. This thing is sick. I had to buy a new power supply beings mine wouldn't put enough air out that this graphics card would need so I bought a 700w power supply. I play some games not many. I play Crysis On high setting still running about 56fps. Counterstrike source. I play everyday basically and I get about 176.6fps. Last but not least would be Grand Theft Auto IV. They have the drifting mods and now making new cars for the game. Pretty sick if anyone plays these let me know. I don't really play Crysis anymore. DallasGDub Posted July 21, 2009 Report Posted July 21, 2009 I only play COD online. But I play Crysis, FEAR, other shooters like that. I run the AMD 64x2 5600, with the ATI 9800gtx 512mb. Quote
XxMeltIcexX Posted July 21, 2009 Report Posted July 21, 2009 I've got an Athlon Phenom X4 and dual Nvidia 9500 GTs. Dont play games on the PC anymore thanks to the PS3, but it kicks ass on any game I throw at it. Quote

Keyser Soze Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 AMD 64 X2 5800 Brisbane @ 3.0 ghz....dual core is all you need right now Western Digital 500 gig hdd x2 80 Western digital raptor hardrive @ 10000rpm 4gig g. skill ddr 2 pc8500 ram On board ATI 3200HD graphics card, running hybrid with radeon x1510. I love ati's hybrid graphics. I was running SLI and was not a big fan of the results. It did help a ton but created a lot of heat and was not the easiest thing to set up. ATI's hybrid graphics increases the life of your card x10. It also really opens up the possibilties for overclocking Quote
