NickisGod
i dont think that really happens to stock motors, but ussaly its from intense stress from riding. your best bet is to hit up ebay for a new basket billet basket or just replace it with a used oem one. either way you need something new, because that ones toast. where are the teeth? were you able to locate them inside the clutch case? bbcmudtruck
www.farmandsandtoys.com is running a special on billet baskets. I thought I saw them priced at $145.
LiftdT4R
Holy shit man, I saw your post before, and you werent kidding!! My guess is the previous owner just let the teeth fall off one by one and kept using it. The 5 gallon tank is nice, espceially for long rides, Ill never go back to my stocker after using it. If you have the loot go for a Hinson Billet Basket, nicest out there.
spurdy
Here's the basket that got raped sum how. . Any help would be appreciated. Thanx I'd check Jeff at F.A.S.T and see what he's got especially if its on sale. If not Magnum makes a fairly constructed and priced basket. And what did happen to all the parts? What has been done to the motor so you build the next clutch to handle the power between the motor and tranny to prevent further failure. That could have (and maybe you just don't know yet) a catastrophe! Another thing.....does anyone know how much R21000 south African currency is? Edit: Couldn't wait ....$2694.04 US Shit must be hard to get over there! That is pretty high over here. Hope it was a good deal for you man. Good Luck SP Edited July 21, 2009 by spurdy
