But there should be plenty of Kawi's there for you to race. I was partying with them on Saturday night and they all made fun of me bacause I rode a banshee. Lol. They had some sick ass turbo and nitrous 800's. So I told them we should race, they all thought it was hillarious. So they said we should go out to choke on Sunday morning. I drove my ass ALL the way out there on my drag bike just to race them. But I got there before they did so I took a few runs up the hill before they got there. By the time they got there I was letting mine cool down on the bottom of choke. While I was letting mine cool down a few of them were racing up the hill. After a few minutes I decided I should make one more run up the hill before I raced them just to make sure I had my bike dialed in. They all watched me race up the hill and when I came back down I headed over to where they were all parked to race them and then they ALL left! WTF?!?! Everyone wanted to watch me race some $26,000 dollar turbo and nitrous'd 800 kawi and he was the first one that left. I guess he didn't want to get embrassed by a little 409cc banshee lmao. And just a heads up if you race on thunder. There is a guy who lives locally, I guess he is always sitting at the bottom of thunder with his "posse." He drives a fully built nitrous'd red and black drag trx. He owns HP racing. I raced him about 6 times and he was the only bike I lost to all weekend becasue he wouldn't let me have the hit. He had to have the hit everytime. The one time I did get the hit I beat him. And I tried to talk to him afterwards and he is a dick so watch out for him. But I should be heading back up there either the 24th or 31st. Hopefully with a little more tuning and gearing done. I know my bike still has more left in her. I sat at the bottom of thunder for about 10min before one of them even came over and lined up. Dude had 2 stages of nitrous and a bored out 800 vtwin. He sprayed right off the line and only got within about a length of my black bike. I came back down and lined up again and they all left. The Hansen Performance guys are alright guys, but they need a few lessons on how to line up and launch with hillshooting. I know exactly what you're talking about with the guys just taking off whenever they want. We were out there last year and every bike they brought out to race got beat by calvin's 4mil FAST drag bike. And he's 320lbs! LOL! They have some quick bikes, but they aren't much competition against a well set up banshee. The kawi guys ran off after doing a single run up the hill every time I saw them race anywhere. That "superbeast" supercharged kawi bike didn't impress me at all. Neat idea, but jesus that thing is one ugly pile and didn't seem all that amazing when I saw it run.
