Honda Civic suspension queston

I just dont know what the hell is up with my car, (1990 Honda Civic SI HB). I have all the strut and sway bars on the car aswell as 5-way ajustable shocks. Car is lowered 1 .25 inches... Dam car seems to just want to nose dive into corners even when I am not realy taking them fast... Any ideas y it does this? Could the rime and tire size be causing the problem. 205-40-17 rims. Car still has the stock SOHC motor in it.

Any info you can provide would be nice

How thick is your sway bar? Mabey get under there and have a look and see if the bushings that hold it on and the rods and the ends are worn out and/or broken...worth a look see at least.

what kind of springs you running? You need to get some quality coilovers like ground control's with eibach springs...You can also go with integra spring rates, it'll stiffen it up some but still give you a quality ride.. What shocks you have, KYB AGX?

I got a suspension kit off ebay, came with Tokico 5 way ajustable shocks and 1.25 drop lowering springs. The springs are Tokico aswell .

I upgraded the rear drum brakes to disc. Then upgraded to a big disc AEM brake setup. On the front, I pulled the steering nuckels off a 1991 Acura Integer LS and put them on my honda, then added a AEM big disc upgrage in front...

Hope that all makes sence. lol

Tokico's are good shocks for cruising around. But if you want to run them hard you need some ksports or f2's.

Are those knuckles the same geometry as the original Honda arms?

If not that may be your problem that is causing the dive issue. :geek:
