We now have bowls which hold more than any other keihin bowl. Even the "other guy" is under ours slightly. We also profiled the bottom even on our larger bowls so it does not hit the case!!

keihin bowls

What is the volumetric capacity of those? :geek:

Those are nice.

I should have written it down. I filled up ours and the boss bowls and ours held just a hair more. From what I understand the boss bowls held more than any other.

Our old bowls held alot but not as much as Boss bowls. We wanted to make that claim so we made our's larger but addressed all issues.

I didn't like either of the sets of BOSS bowls that I have owned....

I second that, my set leaked terribly and were bulky looking. Held a shit ton of fuel tho.

We have never had a problem with the orings leaking. We have them squish about .015" to .02".

In addition we take great care in our machining to have the sealing surfaces to within .005" flatness.

Even outside of this flatness our design allows for the sealing areas when fastened together to clamp together along the wall or length between the bolt holes.

Not to take away from Jerry's (Chariot) product as I've got some of his stuff and it's all been first rate as far as quality and workmanship is concerned but I want to address the leaky bowl problem you guys are having.

Over the years I've gone round and round with certian Banshee issues while building our asphalt bikes and drippy bowls is one that I finally got worked out after years of messing around.

The fuel is migrating up the threads of the forward bolts in the upper plate that adapts the bowl to the carb.

Our local hardware store sells small hard paper washers and stainless button head bolts that have fixed the leaking 100% of the time.

I tried all kinds of things including sealers etc in the past with limited sucess but this WILL fix it.

I've had no luck posting pictures in the past so if someone wants to put it up here send me an email address.

Hope this helps <img src="http://bansheehq.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="thumbsup.gif" />

We currently run RDZ's on our bikes and they're dry as a bone. Both leaked when we got them just like every billet bowl we've ever had. Even sanded one set on a thick piece of glass so the O-ring stood up higher but it didn't help. My son was actually the one to figure out what was happening.

This fix has worked on every set I've owned including Boss.

If you look close at the picture you'll notice there are two different length bolts. They are longer than stock because of the thick paper washer plus I made sure to use all the threads in the carb body.

Every once in a while I run into a button head that fits a little to snug in the corner and I'll lightly dress the edge on the bench grinder for a better fit.

I hate putting down a company but everything i have got from BOSS i have certain issues with.

I want to throw my oversized set of boss bowls as far as i can right now cause there so bulky and hit my case. My carbs are sideways right now causeing my filters to not fit right.

As soon as i get done nick nacking with some clutch issues i will upgrade to a different set of bowls. I'm liking these Chariot Bowls. Love there products i have a chariot timing plate.

What's the difference in these bowls and the K&T bowls (Just asking they look similar)
