dajogejr
There is a tranny for sale that is about half the price of an override that would help. Good luck. My 4 mil cub on a stock tranny and FAST clutch with all 6 HD springs still shifted like poo....
okbeast
My 4mil cub with lockup shifts pretty damn good. Obviously it's no override, but it's adjusted correctly and maybe I'm just damn lucky. I'm one of the few on here w/o an override that shifts well.

dajogejr
If you can split the cases and pull the trans out (it falls out...) you can put an override in. It goes in just like the stocker came out. Let me know when you're ready for an override....
quadgod211
get a duneable if ya can...mine are awsome never had a problem at all outta them in 3 years just break it in right by starting your bike up and idle in 1st gear for about a minute and that lubes 5th up.... i got mine off of wcr for a good price and they kept it 2 weeks longer then they was suppose to and they gave me 50% off another trans that i went ahead and had done right away..... you can shift it up or down at any speed like a stock trans..but instead its like butter anyway you use it.... i trail ride 1 of them on a 358 cub and the other is in my drag bike..it was $15 extra for neutral down and thats a big help if you are bad to hit in between 1st and 2nd i just wish i would have got a 2-5 on my drag bike instead of a 1-5....on the plus side i guess i could still use it for 1/8th mile..lol i also think mine had 6 month warranties with them....cant beat that. matt Edited July 12, 2009 by quadgod211
RadarRacing
I got my 1-5 duneable in oct and it was a piece of cake to put in. I got mine from Andy at M&M and called him when I was putting in the springs and he walked me thru it in 3 or 4 mins. I love mine.

I'm still not sold on getting a duneable and riding it anywhere. I just don't wanna shell it and be out $300+ and a tranny.

firebanshee
You won't regret a dunable override, i got mine cut at redline and it is one of the BEST mods i have ever done to my bike.

I just don't wanna shell it and be out $300+ and a tranny. I duned the hell out of a 1-5 from WCR for 2 yrs and has now been on a drag bike for 2 yrs. I haven't changed a shift fork or anything else and I have backloaded the shit out of it, down shifted it at pretty high R's, you name it. It has been I would say the best mod I have done to my bike to this day and it is loaded w/all the goodies now.
