What +4 Stroker Crank Are You Running ?

I been thinking over and over about the build i've been planning on doing, and done a lot of searching on the forums. I've decided just to go +4 Mill stroker. My reason is because i'm going to have to tear down my bottom end to get my crank welded so why not drop a brand new crank in there? And later on down the road im going to want more power.

So in a nutshell Im just trying to get a general idea of what stroker crank everyone is running. I've heard a lot of good about hot rod's +4 stroker crank's but is vito's +4 any good at all? Everyone's opinion is appreciated.

Also some necessities for my build.

seems like a lot of you guys favor hot rods. is it correct that the all hot rod cranks come with the long rods and require you to run the 795 pistons? and the vito's are short rods which allow you to run a stock sized piston? now i've heard the short rod setups rev faster and the long rod setups add more torque. can anyone clarify which setup is particularly better for reliability and the most power?

You can get the hotrod crank in standard or longrod, longrod requires the 795 series pistons and is more reliable due to less side load on the skirts. The shortrod does rev quicker but Ive heard alot of stories of motors going BOOM over time. Im sure youll get mixed replies, some guys may have never had a issue with a shortrod 4mill, as for the most power, i cant comment on that, just my .02
