just got some b-day money so i get a free pass from the wife to buy a present for the shee. looking at either getting a cool head with 19cc domes or some hauler 8 or 10 paddles. already have some ims v-paddles which i really like, i'm just wondering if changing to some haulers would hook up better than just adding a little power from the head and keeping the v-paddles. current mods in the sig, let me know if you think i should go a different route.

I vote for a noss head, but what elevation are you and what fuel do you plan on running with 19cc domes.

well I didnt see that you had a stoker or porting done to the bike. As for paddles dont go over 8. You wont have enough power to push them. I would go for the head first. The reason why I say go with the head is that you will have added cooling a you will be able to change out the domes for compression. That is what I did...Then I go on Ebay and got some Haulers from a guy called ORTires.com ebay name Peterson_IND. I have ran his tires for over three dunes season and getting ready to go on my 4th. I have 3 buddies that run them and last longer then the More $$$ Haulers.. My brother had a paddle start coming off and we took pics and sent them to the guy and he sent a new paddle out free of charge. They have changed the way they adhear the paddles on to the tires and have not given us any probs. and they are only $150 with free shipping!!!

Paddles are totally personal choice. I'm a huge fan of the Haulers, best straight-line traction and not so much turning traction for big power slides. I rode on a bike with V paddles last weekend and hated them, they work completely bass-ackwards for what I like.

thanks for the input everyone. just ordered my head, should be here thurs. actually found some paddles for cheap on ebay, the hauler knock-off's, for like $53 shipped. those should be here this week as well. so i got away with both options i was considering without the wife getting too pissed. now i just cant wait for winter so i can send my jugs off. time for some big boy power...

my bike pushed 10 paddle haulers no problem when all it had was pipes. :ermm:

i personally wouldnt go anything UNDER 8 even if a bike is stock. eventually you will have enough power and you wont have to buy a tire with more paddles later on.
