I don't know that they'll be better or worse then any other carb. I ditch a set of 34 mikuni flatslides and went with a set of 35 PWKs. I found that the PWKs were easier to tune but didn't notice much in the way of performance. SP

Snopczynski
I run TM's on mine and haven't had any problems... Which cylinders for the 421? I run TM's, I dont see much difference from pwk's as far is it runs or with tuning. The TM's are easier for me to tune, but I know most of the baselines and have always ran them. I think their a pretty bad ass carb and not to bad to tune, theirs just expensive to buy.

Cost on them is no different than the keihin pwk, same price range.
Fireroad Express
i got a set of 34tm's. good carbs. easy pilot and main changes, although the needles can be a pain to get at. stock springs are also extremly stiff.i cut mine back almost an inch. dajogejr
It's all what you're comfortable with. Mikuni vs. Keihin is like Ford vs. Chevy....

Bansh-eman
I have the same carbs setup on alky for my drag ported cub. I am used to tuning PWK's, the TM's are a little differt to tune. I only got one day to give them a shot and the sand was blowing around, so I didn't want to fuck around with it too much. I will get it figured out once I get home. Pretty much everyone in SoCal use them that we rode with.
