NunavutBanshee350 Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 Hi Im wondering which rims to purchase. ITP BAJA Rims or the ITP SS112 Sport Aluminum Rims? I ride mainly Trail so what would u recommend? Quote
vulvafan537240 Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 both are nice wheels. have you looked at the motosport alloys redline wheels? if you like the SS's youll probably love the ma's. ive heard that theyre heavy though. Quote
ny98banshee350 Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 hipers=best wheels ever! agreed! Quote
SAVAGE420 Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 (edited) I run the bajas and i love them, there pretty light and strong as f*ck, have took a beating from me over 2 years and there just as round as the day i bought them. The best part is there cheep as hell to pick up with many offsets to choose from. Couple pics of them for the hell of it!!! http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c164/sav...goodride001.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c164/sav...mthedeck002.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c164/sav...Tlookout019.jpg Edited June 29, 2009 by savage420 Quote
NunavutBanshee350 Posted June 30, 2009 Author Report Posted June 30, 2009 Looking for some tuff rims. Very Durable! Looks like the Baja Rims are pretty tuff so I guess thats what ill get. Quote
Washburn Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 Douglas Beadlocks are hands down the toughest wheel out there today. I still like the Hipers though but talk about expensive.. DAMN! Quote
someone82 Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 I just got a set itp baja's with champion beadlocks installed on them, these are tough as hell and the quality of the work done by champion is top notch. Quote

Did they convert your wheels or did you bolt there rings onto to reinforcing rings on the bajas. I run bajas too and was looking at this option also. Post up a few detailed pics please. Quote

I just got them off of ebay so I can't give you an idea on pricing of the service but I can get you pictures later tonight. I just wish weld or sanders would make a wheel for the quads, because from my sprint car building days they are some of the strongest and lightest wheel (for a 15" x 18" wheel ) designs i've seen. someone82 Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 Ok here are some pictures of the rims. I just painted the beadlock ring and installed new hardware rim minus ring: back side of rim: weld of beadlock plate: threaded insert (replaceable if stripped): complete rim and beadlock ring: Quote
SAVAGE420 Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 Looks like they did a good job!!! You sure those were ITP Baja's though? They look like Douglas .190s to me.... Any which way they look good. Do you know what they charge any which way? Quote
