blowit
okso if u pipe it it might get up in the 10000 to 11000 range Usable power is finishes off before 9K. 10K is a good spooling motor, 11K is getting it on a small bore motor..... jbooker82
My patriot drag ported 4mill.stopped making power at 9100 to 9200 with cpi pipes and pwk carbs.
mopar1rules
allright so they are more then a craptor or anything like or no i think the raptors are limited by the OEM rev box to 7800 or so. i could be wrong tho. i know they have big gun rev boxs to add more max rpms. dirtydownunder
the yfz 450's rev higher than the yfz 350's. some 450 rev box's have a rpm limit of 11,700rpm. but only 2 strokes sound good up in the revs
Jaksterman
Thread is 10 years old. But in case somebody else wanted more info. My Banshee is stock bore stock crank, T5 exhaust, shaved flywheel, 19cc coolhead domes. 93 octane. Power band hits at 5500 and starts to drop off at 11,000 I can run 13,000 but you start to really notice the power loss. Also! Once engine temps get over 150. You will notice decreased performance. And anything over 200 it's a real dog.

Deets
For stock bore and stroke I’d think they could make HP at more rpm than 9,000. That would be determined by the pipe at what rpm peak power is made. This would most likely result in poor power down low I’d assume though.
