AKheathen
did you remember the rubber plug in the bottom of the cylinder? did you retorque the head after a few heat cycles?

If you don't do it correctly you could warp the head. And like AKheathen said you have to heat cycle it and retorque everything again. AKheathen
ok, the rubber plug goes in the bottom of the cylinder before you put it on, but i just realized that the balance tube is above the head. the coolant hose goes down through it, though. you need to replace the head gasket. it's probably all coming from there. don't forget the seequence and retorque. you'd be amazed how loose the nuts get, especially the front. Ok ya when I start it it like blows or runs some antifreeze down the one side of the jug and it's just the one side then later I just went out there and put my one hand the one were it was leaking and I termed it with my hand and could antifrzze get into your tranny oil
AKheathen
if antifreeze is in your tranny oil, then you have a bad water pump seal

Take it off mark the other side with a light scratch. Place in a pan of water and boil for 10 mins. Replace the opposite way you had it on. I know this sounds weird but it works. Its hard to see but the stock head gasket has a slight rise on it and should be placed on the top and not on the bottom.

BoostedRex
On the tube that goes between your carbs and into your clutch cover there are 2 O-rings and a clip. On mine I had the clip get bent when I put it on and I got a shitload of water in my tranny. I just bought a new clip and O-rings. Problem solved.
