tt_bansheerida
you have to ground it on the dyna? why do they do it backwards? i dont run a e brake anymore i only run the tether cord, on and off switch, coil, startor and cdi box is there a positive and a ground going to the e-brake? if so can i just run the positive straight to the cdi ground? any help is appreceated
No Limit Powersports
Did you run a resistor plug? Like a br8es if not thats probably your problem a non resistor plug will fry a dyna.
Snopczynski
This has not been true in the case of my best friends bike. It had B9ES plugs in it for a long time, no issues. Its the E-brake wiring. Just look at a wiring diagram for a stock bike and ground the wire.
dirtydownunder
is that if you remove the e-brake ? when i installed my dyna i just plugged it in and its been awesome ever since.
AKheathen
i'm not one to question your input, but the green/yellow e-brake wire is a normally open circut, and grounding is what activates the rev limiter, on a stock cdi.
Snopczynski
Lets do this, what year is the bike it is being put on?
