I use the stock airbox minus snorkle, it has a k&n filter in it, i was gonna buy some D&D Bullseyes for the airbox lid, i use em on my sleds and like em and they look nicer then the little uni round things. Im not sure about my elevation i will have to look it up. thanks

temp now humid and mid 70's

i am at 1181 foot where i live.

where i ride is around 1158ft in Luzerne, Michigan it says.

What elevation are you at and what filter set up are you using?

the 260's sound about right, maybey 250's, but you'll have to go up a size if it dries out, and 2 sizes if you go to the open element. i did the uni pods on my rotax. sound awesome!

Thanks alot, and 27.5 for the pilots???? i had the uni's on my cr250 dirtbike and loved em, i just got the D&D's with a twin pipe kit for my ZR900 sled and boosted horsepower to 170, not that the bullseyes did it, it was pipes, silencer, v-force reeds and the bullseyes.

I ran 25 pilots for a year tell i got my porting done and moved up to 27.5's but it ran great with the 25's... so all in all if the bottom end is great and launches hard with 25's then I would stay with them...but if you have them around the house try the 27.5 and see how they work. all in all its not like you can move back down to the 25's if they are tomuch for your bike...

Thanks, i was just worried that if i didnt stick the 27.5's in that it would hurt motor. I havent rode it yet since i put the jets in, i still have to finish putting my redline clutch in, just been busy gonna try and get clutch in it today and take it for a rip, i hope them pipes wake it up more, it flew good already as all banshees do stock, but i hope them pipes give it a little more. Thanks

the pilots depend on the motor...as mine ran fine with them...but every motor is diff. so you will just have to play around with it to see if you need bigger ones or not

To verify your pilot/airscrew circuit jetting, start the motor and let it warm up fully; install fresh spark plugs, start it (without using the choke) and let the motor idle for about 10 minutes; pull the plugs and look at the center electrode and base ring; they should be a light chocolate brown color if you're dialed in.

take a nice firm grip on the bars, get reddy to say OH, MY FUCKING GOD! and let her rip! switching to a topend pipe from stock is alot more dramatic, but new pipes are night and day, regaurdless.

that's a bit excessive. 1 min is enough.....IMO & experience. no need to let it idle for 10 min.
