official_style
I just got out to vegas, and they only have 91 octane gas here. Wtf. Am I all good running +4 timing here, or do I need to turn it down?

Snopczynski
it depends on compression.
90Bansheedude
I can show ya where to get the good stuff. PM sent I only have 91 were I am, unless i can talk the airport guy into giving me some AV gas again, its leaded fuel. So...is +4 ok on 91, and up to what comp? Also, is leaded AV gas ok to use? ( I think it might be about 110 octane.)

Am I all good running +4 timing here, or do I need to turn it down? here in vegas they have a few gas stations on each end of town that will carry 100 octane. the name of the gas stations are Rebel. or you could contact a company in town that has 110 on their pump. the name of that company is Haycock Petrolem.Haycocks number is 702-382-1620. official_style
My motors are stock internally, both just have t5s, +4 timing, and cfm box with pods. So I need to buy the 100 octane?
official_style
What is safe timing the for 91 octane, I don't want to have to find 100 octane in utah and cali, I would rather just turn it down and be safe.
rtcc
have you raised your compression? If you have a stock head you are fine, you only need higher octane if you bumped up your compression.
official_style
the heads are stock, so im at stock compression. cool so im all good to ride, now i just have to go buy 2 trailer tires, mine are fucked from the drive out.
Loc
91 Octane will be fine. As far as the AvGas it is rated at 103 octane from what the airport gas man told me. I really like avgas, it smells great and burns pretty clean. That is what I run on a my banshee that is 160psi.
TwistedSheeRida
our av gas is 100LL here it does smell good. they also sell 93 octane without the ethenol so ive been running that
