LiftdT4R Posted June 2, 2009 Report Posted June 2, 2009 I know I posted pictures of my truck a while back, but I just cleaned it and dialed in the carb for the summer today. Not too much too it, 6" lift, 33" tires, just a summer/beach cruiser. I usually take her out on a few nice days in the summer and on the 4th to the fireworks. It's not the cleanest or meanest, but I have a lot of fun. In the process of getting historic plates and insurnace, and cleaning up the engine compartment. (looks terrible, I didnt even take any pics) Quote
AWR Posted June 2, 2009 Report Posted June 2, 2009 i had a 74 but it was'nt half as nice as that one..lot's of fun though Quote
bode1 Posted June 2, 2009 Report Posted June 2, 2009 I love those things. I'd rather have one of them than a jeep Quote
figure8racer7463 Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 That thing is fucking badass!!!!!!!! I love scouts and travelall's they are damn near indestructible. Enjoy that sweet ride!!!! Quote
dajogejr Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 I don't know what you're talking about...from the outside, it's one of the cleanest I've seen. I love old Scouts. They are just bad ass as all hell and make great 4X4s! Quote
LiftdT4R Posted June 3, 2009 Author Report Posted June 3, 2009 Thanks for the replies. The pics actually make the truck look better then it is and I'm just really anal with my bikes and cars. The truck is totally fun though, and I get a lot of good comments. I also love the 66-77 Broncos, and I want to pick one up but theyre soooo damn expensive, and I'm about out of garage space. Thanks again guys!!! Quote
flint Posted June 10, 2009 Report Posted June 10, 2009 just picked up a 69 bronco off my grand father. its been sitting in his barn for a few years and was only used as a plow truck. he is the only owner and the truck just broke 40tho miles. in pretty rough shape but should be a fun project. josh Quote

I love the 66-77s, they are awesome trucks!! I'm guessing it probably has the 3 speed? If you have any pics post it up, I love to see the old Broncos, Scouts, Jeeps, Defenders and FJs. Quote
bansheerider420 Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 Nice scout! i really miss my 78!! Quote
278 Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 old broncos and scouts like that are bad ass for off-roading, My buddies got 2 old broncos, 1 he's restoring and the other is a beater that he takes out and beats the crap out of. I've always wanted to build a mean street Bronco with like a 383 or 396 stroker and dropped about 3" just because its not something you really see. Quote
AKheathen Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 my friend has a....76? travellall, that he's converting to something like an avalanche. probably welding in the bed as we speak. Quote
