bamaboybv Posted June 2, 2009 Report Share Posted June 2, 2009 Got my top end off for a rebuild and I noticed that the left rod/ or stator side rod on the crankshaft has more play than the right side. It doesn't move up and down it just has a little more left and right play than the right/clutch side....Is this normal or should they both be tight? It seems like they both shoul;d hve the same amount of play They should be equal but the clymer's manual will give you the specs for rod end play.
