so here is what i got going on i wanna build a mean trail shee but still be able to hit the strip up

so this is what i was thinking

1. cub build but i have no clue on how to go about this and the search method dont like me lol

2 4 mill with an aggresive trail port

which would be more trail friendly but still put out +8 swinger wheel stands lol

im sure this is been gone through a bunch of time and i tried searching but it keeps telling me there is an error so

I would build a stong Play/Dune port. ANyone that starts a sentence with they "want a mean trail shee" doesnt really need the pipey powerband that a cub makes IMO. Plus it will be cheaper to port your stock cyls you already have.

Yea, porting would be much cheaper. For a Cheetah, you're looking at anywhere from $1,500 to $4,000, depending on what size you want to go. And that's for just the parts, and you doing the labor.

A Cheetah PV is made by the same company that makes the Cheetah Cub. CP Industries. It's a power valved motor. The power valves change your exhaust port timing, depending on your RPM. It comes pretty much drag ported, but with the exhaust port timing being changed, you have a ton of low end power. The power band is almost just like a 4-stroke, and very smooth, but you get the power and scream of a drag ported 2-stroke. Same motor that I just put in my bike. Mine's a 10mil 535cc Cheetah PV. And yes, I ride aggressive trails. I might take it to the drag strip, just to play around with the rice burners a little.

stock cylinder 4mil is a good engine for most any kind of riding but id say that concentrating on your basics is a good way to build any machine. intake, exhaust and porting are the 3 main things that make up an engine imo. get a nice aggresive port job for your stock cylinders and some bigger carbs to feed it and throw a set of cpi's on it. good drag machine and still very trail rideable. just my 2 cents lol
