450 a arm swap

I am getting ready to do the swap and I was wondering if anybody ever moved the frame mount instead of cutting the a arm and using spacers? I have a welder and all of the equipment needed to do this and I am going to powder the frame while its apart so the grinding wont really matter. And in the long run if I ever bend some stuff up it will be an easier fix if I modify the frame. Thanks for all the help and input.

i didnt use spacers i just cut through the weld on the a-arms an re-welded it,it ends up close to the edge but its better than using spacers

Well just wanted to give an update I decided to move the frame mounts. Thought about it long and hard and decided to hell with it. For one now if I bend something its just a bolt on fix and for two there is a lot of really nice stuff coming out for the yfz as far as for banshees since they don't sell them here in the states anymore all of the aftermarket companies really are not trying to develop new stuff for it to much. And for three by me moving the frame mounts it allows me to position the lower arm a little more forward like the yfz which gets rid of the problem with the shock hitting the upper arm. So far looking pretty sweet will post some pics later.

I just finished doing the same thing to my banshee, it now has houser slicast a arms and elka long travel shocks, i made up new lower a arm mounts and just used the top mounts, had to make new mounts for shocks as well but i can tell you it is worth it in the end.
