dpg
Hello Everyone! Im looking into buying one of these beasts! I have a regular honda atv 450 foreman & 300ex .... i mean you just hop on and go. Is the Banshee like that? shift n gas n go? I havent driven one so im not sure, first time into the sporty atv scene. Thanks, NS

LiftdT4R
What up bro. Best advice I can give you id find one that is in good shape. Banshees have been around for ~ 20 years so there are some REALLY shitty ones out there. Look around, and find a nice one at a good price, then jump on it. They are very good bikes IMHO, and are a blast to ride. Parts are cheap, and they are easy to work on. The biggest headache that I hear from most newbs is Jetting, but just like any 2 stroke, stay on top of the jetting and carbs, and 90% of your problems are gone. Good luck bro, and there is a ton of info here.

broke as a joke
yeah just like your 300ex, 1st is all the way down, N is between first and second, then it just keeps going up, except your ex is a 5 speed and banshee's are 6. also banshee's do not have reverse. I love my banshee to death, wouldn't trade it for any other wheeler. Like already said maintainence is key, banshees do requiure a lot of maintainence, all wheelers do, but it catches up to you quick with the banshee if you don't do it. Nothing difficult at all, its just a matter of doing it, clean the air filter, adjust the chain, be sure the jetting is correct for the temperature, and elevation if you buy it from a long ways away. Let us know what you do, we're here to help. edit: yes it has a clutch, just like your EX Edited May 28, 2009 by broke as a joke
