randytbo Posted May 24, 2009 Author Report Share Posted May 24, 2009 i have rode 2 strokes before and i am not afraid to let it scream. and the 400 is mine i baught it new and ive ran the shit out of it since day 1 so it didnt gain power. all it has is a pipe frome a rmz250 cut and adapted to fit and i threw a lil bigger main in it. we eaven tried a top speed race and he still just kept pullin away and the shee wouldnt rev any higher. i checked the compression today and its got 90 in one and 100 in the other. im thinkin thats low am i right? randytbo Posted May 24, 2009 Author Report Share Posted May 24, 2009 got it tore down now just shopping around for some pistons. any tips on what to look for while im doing the rebuild? ive been readin and it seems wiseco pistons are the way to go. any particular gaskets to go with? maybe something thinner? Once you get that bike rebuilt race him on the tar. where traction isnt an issue.
