NickisGod
no, the clutch will not release. i can pull the lever and i dont feel any response from the clutch its "locked up"
RagunCajun
I had a good port job on stock juggs and 6 hd springs worked fine. I just went with a 4mil set up and then i needed a lockup. But if i had to do it over again, i would get a lockup. Reason is for easier clutch pull. You can run 3hd/3 regular with a lockup. Then you have easy clutch pull and a clutch that doesnt slip. I run a vito's undercover slingshot style. Works great! Only $220.
sheefreak
i just got one, and i rode it for 15 mins and now the lock up has locked up!!! I's not locked up because of the lockup. Have you got in there to take a look yet?
NickisGod
ive been looking, i no this is mechanical failure, not mechanical advantage. it sucks because i know nothing about how to to trouble shoot a problem in this catagory
tundish2800
I have same setup almost a rajun cajun and love the slingshot i have. with my override it nice not to have to pull the clutch everytime you shift
jbooker82
I run a stock transmission with my lockup and all is well. I wouldnt run any HD springs with a lockup. Let it do the work not the HD springs. Pluse I like how is slips out of the hole.
TNTS355
I run a Direct Drive lockout, on an extreme dune ported stock crank. I love mine. Do not run any HD springs, you dont need them. When the engine in at the higher rpm it pulls the clutch plates in tighter. If you can afford it do it. Saves clutch fibers IMO.
