shanYE west
your not generating enough vacum at idle. when you wic the throttle you should see the fuel level jump up.. but it wont fully reach the PJ.

There is no problem as long as what I stated is happening.. thats the way they are. the fuel wont reach the PJ's by sitting there. if you wic the throttle and the fuel level jumps in the line, then the PJ should be functioning correctly. sheefreak
You will want to start w/them wide open, And go down from there. When I am trying to jet my bike I make 3 or so passes, check the plugs, close down the pj's half turn at a time(if it's rich) and repeat. Do you know how to read alky plugs? shanYE west
how do you read alky plugs? Hard to explain.. but you read the heat of the plug rather then the color. Someone could probably explain it better then I can.

J-Madd
Unless you are trying to get every last bit of hp out of the motor, you can always start with them open, then start closing them by 1/2 a turn or so until the engine runs clean. Make sure the cylinders aren't getting too hot. This is a very safe way to tune, but of course reading the plugs will get you closer to max potential hp.
