miami's_candy_banshee144
ive used motul transoil, but that got pricey, so people have been telling me to run atf. its like 2.50-3.00 a quart 40:1 honestly should i keep running it that high in oil? i have alot of friends that ride their shee's at 25:1. w.e so i live in miami, so the temperature down heres at 90 MAYBE 95 on extremely hot summer days, but mostly the temperatures in the 80s... i know how hot or cold the weather is affects how 2 strokes run... so say the temps at 85 outside, banshee experts what do you think i should run my oil!? fastrthnu
with castor927 you should be mixin like 40-60:1. you dont need to use so much of it, thats why its expensive for you. that is all I use. Klotz is a really good alternative for less money.

spurdy
I have always used klotz super techniplate. I use one quart for 10 gallons so 16 ounces for 5 gallons. Never had a problem WOW That is 80:1! I use ST also but I mix 32 oz to 5 gallons and that is 40:1 without an issue. I would be scared to run it at 80:1. Banshee81
as of right now, im using castor 927 32:1, im getting pretty sick of it because its getting pretty pricey. which oil do you guys recommend? and oil mixture aswell Dude serisouly use motul 2 stroke premix I run my machine at 32:1 and this oil is the best stuff they make it's full synthetic. I used a cheaper oil and noticed a differnece big time, you wont be disapointed with this stuff. It's expensive but worth it about 16.99 a quart!
