Tag Bars

Quick question, I have a set of TAG bars I'm thinking about throwing on but they are pretty thick in diameter. Do you guys know if all the hardware like brake lever clamp, clutch clamps etc. will fit these big bars alright? Do they just gap is all?

I have the thick tag bars..

they went on easy without having to buy anything different

Must be talking about the Tag T-2's. I used them on my old drag bike. They were nice and everything fit well.

 

I use the Tag T-5's on my 450. I like them too.

do you mean fat in the center like 1 1/8" bars or just thick in general? i have the t2's and you need a oversized bar clamp for them there 1 1/8"

Ok cool then I should be fine, yes they are T2's and I do have the oversized bar clamps so as long as everything else fits on I should be good to go.

 

I think I might like them over the stock bars, how have you guys liked them?

i like them better. there more stable and have less vibration and shock on hard landings. but the only thing is since there thicker stronger if you flip you might bend your steering stem before your bars.

Cool, well hopefully that doesn't happen plus I ride mostly sand and don't do a ton of jumping. lol
