run
Yea, as long as the forecast remains the same, we should be ok. I'm going to call sheerider1026, T_shee as soon as I get there so they can update you all on the conditions. Here is is latest and greatest UP TO DATE forecast: Laurel, Indiana Thursday: AM T-Storms, then mostly cloudy: High of 71* 50% Chance of precip in the morning, 20% in the afternoon Friday: Mostly Cloudy: High 76* Chance of precip 20%. Saturday: Scattered Showers, then cloudy: High 71* Chance of precip 30% Looks pretty good overall, and we may just have to dodge a small shower saturday. This is about the same forecast we had for the badlands trip, and man that worked out perfect.
JasonsBanshee
I live an hour east of Haspin and it's absolutely pouring here. It's been pouring for about 2 hours now.
run
I live an hour east of Haspin and it's absolutely pouring here. It's been pouring for about 2 hours now. But, the good news is....it's only wednesday. If it is scattered tomorrow, and dry all day friday, saturday should be ok. Keyser Soze
Pouring here in Brown County...1.5 hour directly east. I think if its dry all day tomorrow we could be OK. I guess we will have to see what Indianapolisbucks weather report is.
run
Guys, I'm not against moving the ride to the badlands at all. But I would have to know by tomorrow, because that's a 5 hour drive for me. I'd leave tomorrow night, stay at my place in Indy, and then head to attica friday morning. But, I dont know if bansheeben would be willing to do that, and thats who I'm getting my throttle cable off of. And, without my throttle cable, I'll be sitting in the parking lot. The forecast looks good for badlands, and decent for Haspin. It's totally up to you guys....and of course if someone has another cable. bansheeben, would you go to badlands if it were moved? You'd be more that welcome to stay at my place tomorrow night, and we'd all hit attica friday morning (IF they decide to move it)

Thats works with me. If you wanted, like I said you could follow us to Indy, and we could stay at my place tomorrow night. And hit attica early friday morning, and get our camp setup. Guys, If bansheeben is in for badlands, I am too. He's got my part...lol Ball is in your guys court! Majority vote...badlands or Haspin? Only downfall to Badlands is we have to be out by 5 and back to the camp. The upside is there is no race there, so it wont be as crazy as Haspin. True, but we're 3 days away, and the forecast is good, so it may dry out by then. It's up to everyone, but I would have to know something by tomorrow. Thats a haul to badlands for me. JasonsBanshee
I won't make it to Badlands. Got too many people going to Haspin. If Haspin is a wash out then we talked about Big Rock but really if it's too muddy at Haspin I will just not ride anywhere.
run
Sounds good! Haspin it is...Plus, it's closer for me. As I said I will be calling sheerider1026, and T_Shee FIRST thing friday morning when I get there, and survey the conditions. But with the forecast we have, I think we'll be fine. I'll just avoid the EXTRA muddy area. Thursday, May 14 High:
