lighting help

 can i run 55watt hella lights on my banshee with stock stator hooked up to existing lighting circuit without blowing some thing or melting my wiring or would i be better off hooking up to blue wire on regulator?

or do i have to do a dc conversion to make this work?

that wont work very well on a stock stator they will light up on the stock stator but you would be better off using a lighter for headlights i think the stock output is less than 100 watts and ur looking to hook up 110 plus ur taillight it wont burn wires or blow anything up but it just wont work for shit. the regulator only has 1 wire on it that shoots directly to the light switch so i think tapping into that blue isnt gunna make a difference anyways. bybassing the regulator will not let you access extra wattage. ur bulbs will blow up b/c the regulator aborbs excess voltage

so if i put on a 200w stator will that make the lights brighter cause they work now but real dim unless im throttling the shit outta it seems like ricky stator is hit or miss weather or not you get a good one any suggestions? also how do i contact snop?

if you run a 200watter, you can power those lights just fine, even at low rpm's i've not heard anything bad about moose stators, or you can have yours rewound at a local eletrical rebuild shop.
