grizzly700
people like that are the reason why our sport is looked down upon. if he wouldve just stopped and talked to the officer he might have just told him to go home or wrote him a ticket. now this fuckstick has to pay thousands and prolly lost his banshee forever. 2 STROKIN'
No offense to anyone, but people run from the cops on ANYTHING they can...cars, trucks, motorcycles, scooters, bicycles, (airplanes(hahaha) etc.etc. As long as we don't do what he did, he's only giving himself a 'bad name'. Ride where your suppose to, and 'bad names' won't affect you at all ! My 2 cents
twillz08
Why chase him it's not like he robbed a bank or shot someone. The cops add to the danger of a wreck or someone getting hurt by trying to chase him +1 to cops for making a big deal out of nothing... Ride where your suppose to, and 'bad names' won't affect you at all ! My 2 cents Well, i live in a part of Las Vegas where the neighborhood is all 3/4 acre lots, and at the end of my road is a few warehoused, it used to be alright for me to ride down my road to the road where the warehouses are so i can test my banshee without having to load up and drive 30 min and come back to fix it. Until a few idiot mexicans that live on the same road decided it was alright to run up and down just our road. which also used to be fine. but they went and ran from the cops and flew down the side of the road kicking up dust, pissietc... now i cant ride even down my road slowly to get to the warehouses. So what people like that do does NOT just affect them. And ive stoped for cops, most say ride it slowly, or go home because i always have a helmet and boots on, and simply exlpain i am testing it out. I totally agree...cops need to pick and choose what validates a high speed pursuit in a residential neighborhood! If the jack-ass would have made it around the corner or something without being chased, he probably would have pulled it back in the garage. Believe me, I'm NOT ccondoning this type of riding, but you should at least know where the fuck you are, and where your going if your gonna run ( experience )!! Bottom line- the guy is a tard, and the cops were probably bored.

The cops add to the danger of a wreck or someone getting hurt by trying to chase him +1 to cops for making a big deal out of nothing... Said he was doing 70mph. Chester is a city type area my guess would be it was a 25 zone from the description in the article. I don't think people should be racing down streets in a neighborhood at 70 on or in anything. He probally would have got off with a warning if he was cool or a few tickets and impounded if he was an asshole.
peterlocal22
if he was a danger to pedestrians and children in the area why did the cops continue to chase him at a high rate of speed. this pisses me off too. had a cop almost take me and my girl out on a back road yesterday while we were running. if there was a kid in the middle of the street where he was racing down the street theres no way he would have been ale to stop. alot of cops out there think they too are above the law and when put into a high speed chase they need to relize when to back off. Mjv420
To all the people that piss and moan about people like this getting their riding area's shutdown along with giving atv'ers a bad rep, just shut it. This guy is more than likely a repeated offender of the law and just because he is on a atv and does some stupid shit through a residental zone does not have any affect on your riding area's. The fact of the matter is that he was not riding in an approved riding area so there is no comparision between each. I do see the guy from las vegas's point and situation though which is a totally different story. I found humor in the end when they state the guy saw the taser and then wrecked. What after he wrecked, resisted arrest and such I guess they asked him, that taser scared the shit out of you didnt it? lol..
moneybags
The cops should have just shot him in the face.
