matt
Well currently i have stock carbs on with TORS removed, the bike is running great but i want to get more power out of the bike. I was thinking about going with 28 mikuni's, or possibly the trinity stage iv 2 into 1 with the 35 pwk setup. what would you guys suggest ? eventually i want to maybe get the bike ported so if i buy carbs now i dont want to buy another set up down the road if thats possible. Also If i get the 28 mikuni's do they sell the adapters for the air box to fit or do i need to go with pod filters? if i need to go with pod filters how good is the protection with outwears on them in the mud and fine dust/sand? Right now my bike has T5's, vf3's,powernow valves, 13t and 42t gearing, pro design head. This previous weekend my friend and me were almost dead even dragging, but his bike is faster but due to his shitty tires i was able to keep up, his bike has a noss head, trinity stage iv 2 into 1 35pwk, pro flow intake, vforce reeds, stock gearing, fmf sst's. do you guys think that my carb set up is holding me back from being as fast as him? any help would be grealty appreciated
NickisGod
i myself wanna know, im going back and redoing my shees setup now that ive gained knowledge on what kind of riding i like. i dropped my stock carbs after 3 months for 39mm and had the same engine configuration as you. 39's wernt for me and i liked the stockers better, but now im going in the trinty intake direction. peterlocal22
i run the 35 mm trinity 2 into 1 and love it. my bikes a trail bike so i have better low end. also a big fan of the 2 into 1 because there so much easier to adjust ect and give the motor a much cleaner look. if your talking about possibly porting your bike in the future, and you seem to like dragen then i would recomend sticking w a dual set up. if your looking for more low end and your keeping your current set up then 2 into 1. peter
