tank
ok so ever since i first bought this banshee it has had no spark. so now i know i have the wiring right. i replaced the stator coil and cdi. now since i have gotten a little smarter, i started testing everything. all the parts i bought were **supposed** to be in working order. so i tested everything and everything is a-ok until i get to the coil. once i test it, it reads nothing. no change at all. so what should i do? get a new coil? is there anything i am overlooking? If you coil does not have a reading I would change it out. Second I would make sure that I have a good ground. I would also invest in a tester that plugs in between the coil and the spark plug. It takes out a lot of headaches and shocks when checking for fire on your plugs.
J-Madd
Also unplug TORS and check the pick up coil gap. Make sure you're kill switch is either working or bypassed properly.

CoreyReid
tors is eliminated. kill switch is bypassed correctly. whats the pick up coil gap supposed to be? thanks for your help guys as close as possible without touching. I believe the proper gap is not less than .020 about the thickness of a business card. hope this helps
