dirtydownunder
an aftermarket timing plate replace's your non adjustable standard one. With elongated holes so you can move the sensor around the pick up to advance and retard your timing. a dynatek or other aftermarket cdi, replaces your cdi unit and instead of advancing/retarding the time mechanicly it does it electronicly threw a "map" that has points of advance and retard through the rev range. i choose to go with the adjustable cdi instead so i didnt have to pull shit apart to adjust my timing.
