bansheejoel Posted April 20, 2009 Report Share Posted April 20, 2009 well i was at the dunes on saturday doing some drag racing and one race my clutch would be fine. The next race it was really loose so i would have to adjust it by turning out the adjuster on the clutch lever, then the next race it would be WAYYYY to tight and i would have to screw the clutch lever adjuster back in. While just duning it was fine but when dragging it was screwed up. Any ideas what was going on? Maybe just getting hot as hell? TNTS355 Posted April 22, 2009 Report Share Posted April 22, 2009 I had the same problem with my lockout clutch. The nut on my pancake bearing backed off. At high rpm's I was good and at low rpm's I could not get it to engage. Recheck your clutch adjustment and make sure your arrows line up. Pull your cover and make sure your nut is not loose.
