Stator

yeah just take a multimeter and put it on the ohm setting. You want to test the green and red striped wires together and the solid red and green wires together. I think one is 19 ohm and the other is 119 ohms. both are give or take a few. I think my stator was 17 and 107 or some shit like that, works fine though.

Went and got it tested today, the numbers that I got were 16.8 ohms and 118.9 ohms.

Is it usable?

Yes. I don't have my manual right here but I know the middles are 19 and 119 give or take a few ohms each way. hell my high one was like 107 and it works fine.

Q#29:How do I test the Ignition Coil on the Stator?

A#29:Using an ohmmeter and the specifications above, check the resistance between the red wire and the green wire on the four-wire harness coming out of the stator. Find the four-wire connector (usually white), at the front of the airbox on the right-hand side of the bike. Depress the little plastic retainer on the connector and disconnect the two connector halves. Take a look at the wire on the connector towards the front of the bike, it should run under the carbs and into the left-hand side of the motor
