springer
So, makin a trip to see the in-laws in ogden, ut the first week of may. figured since i was going all that way, i couldnt leave the shee at home. going to be pretty close to the middle between st. anthony and little sahara. where should i go? prolly take the wife since she has not been in the sand since she got her 250, so she will need some easy trails, hills, ect, nothing too overwhelming for her first sand trip. need to get her hooked first. i have never ridden at either place myself. what are your thoughts on them. i cant decide from internet pics, etc. need some real life info here.. thanks. zinger nation
If thats the case go to litttle sahara, once you pass the pay shack follow road to the first right that will take you to white sands. There be picnic areas under trees. Park any where. theres a trail that goes to sand mountian, thats a sweet little trail all sand just along the dunes. Its about 10 Mile ride to sand moutian. Once you get there you have the option to ride some bigger dunes if you like. Personlly i like St. Anthonys but when i have a newbee thats where i like to take them. Have fun. Frogger
You could do either! From Ogden, St. A's is about an hour longer drive. LS has got everything you'd want and then some.
BoostedRex
I personally prefer Little Sahara. I think there is a lot more options when it comes to riding different styles. There are little hills, medium hills, trails and then there is of course Sand Mountain. St. Anthony's I feel like has either little hills or medium steep hills. I don't like St. Anthony's half as much as Little Sahara but most of my friends do like it better up north. But imho I do feel Little Sahara is a lot better for a beginner. BumpaD_Z28
Of the 25 times I have been to the dunes (from Logan, UT) with the BANSHEE, 23 were too St. Anthony and twice to Little Sahara .... Lots of types of riding at both places, BUT Little Sahara only has ONE big hill ~DaVe
