toolman
I'm finally getting around to building a engine for a roller I bought a year ago. I bought most of the parts from the members here. I have used cases new trued and weled crank, wiseco pistons 65.5mm fresh bore on the cylinders pro circuit pipes (Fatties) Single 33 PKW carb and a Pro design cool head that came with 19cc domes. This is my question are the domes to small for a basic trail bike running at about 600 ft sea level. I would like to run pump gas. I run 927 castor for oil. Where is the best place to get new orings for the cool head. Thanks Tim
Sammy
With 19cc domes I would definitely run at least some 110 in it. How much timing are you going to run?
278
Yeah they probably are to small, but the best way to find out is to put the motor together and do a comp test
wacko2000
Im at sea level, and to run pump gas you are going to need 21-22cc domes. With 18c domes you will have like 180-190 psi and will def need 110 octane
toolman
Forgot the timing I usally run plus4. Noss has a chart on their web site if remember right 19cc runs about 170 psi at sea level. So I might have a set of 19cc dome forsale or trade. I will wait and put it togather and check the compression.
swrbansheeboy
i've got a bike running 19cc domes and +4 timing, it's got 165 lbs or compression and i've been running it on a 50/50 mix of 110 and 92 for about 5 years with no problems...
