I already have a k&n filter and ngk spark plugs and i want to make it faster without spending money. I am only 14 and dont have much money with me so help me out with some upgrades. AKheathen Posted April 14, 2009 Report Share Posted April 14, 2009 if you can scrounge up between $100-$200, GET SOME PIPES. petty much the biggest bolt-on power for a stokker. be sure to jet it. it will not be "ok" to do filter and exhaust mods without re-jetting. could only take 10 min. to melt a piston. you can get a nice selection of jetts for $30 off ebay. don't fall for the "power jet" gimmick. you can also get just the jets you need at the time from f.a.s.t. really quick and cheap :thumbsup: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not to steal business from Kevin, but you can also get cast ones for just over $30. Heck, Kevin or the other sponsors probably have those too. No reason to spend extra money for the billet, no real need. As mentioned, airbox mods are cheap and give you some more air. I know, when I was 17 it took me forever to save up the $250 to pay my drag racing ticket I had gotten, but no worries, you can get the cash needed to mod the banshee. no matter what you end up doing, if you want to dance, you have to pay the piper, so pay him as little as you can, used pipes and new filters $250 you wont be sorry. unless you crash it, then you might be, but outside of that, a wise buy.
