shanYE west Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 Deffinately not needed on a 421 cub.. But They do make the cover without the support.. and if you decided to add the support at a later time.. you can! I got one and its by far the best stator cover I've seen.. looks and quality! Quote

IMO it really depends on how much power you Cub makes and how you ride it, as to whether you need one or not. Personally, I think it may help you not break a second gear cluster no matter hopw much power you make. I would also like to hear from someone that has run one, since I am also thinking of buying one or two of them. I am unhappy with a few other parts like this that I ran in the past, including two that I made........ Quote

If im going to buy it, Im going to go all in and get the support i think. I need to do something, cause the first stator cover i bought is from modquad and the damn flamed part over the sprocket broke out the first weekend i rode with it. 300 bones and it is a piece of shit. Blewbyu, how do they polish up? I know he doesn't offer them polished. Quote
dajogejr Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 All the products I've seen from Chariot are top notch. This item is one of those "I don't need it now, but it's one less thing to buy down the road" purchases for me. While I'm very certain you don't need one on a 4 mil cub, it won't hurt anything but your wallet, and it'll last for future builds when you do need it. When i buy one, I'll buy the whole kit as well. "NEED" is such a subjective term. Im pretty sure i need one just about as much as i "needed" a drag bike. This free HQ bike sure is expensive LOL  Quote
