Picked them up a week ago for $60 bucks. Figured they would need a rebuild but they are in good shape. The guy I bought them from only told me they were on a piped banshee. Stock piolet 320 mains, 1 clip up. I tried them on my banshee today with that jetting and im very impressed with the carbs. Bike seems to rev faster, but it does not want to stay in the power band like it used to. A lot of shifting, doesnt backfire or cut out or anything just like the the powerband shrank. Could this be a jetting issue? I figured I would have more top end?

My relavent mods are as follows

Trail ported

K and N pods

+4 timing

FMF fattys

Is 320 a good starting point? I couldnt tell if it was lean or rich...plugs were black but 320 seems small for my mods....thanks in advance.

IMO, the mains are a little small. try 340's. also, try contacting Snope on here, as he has ran those carbs, and has the setup needed. you might have the wrong needles, as i know he changes those.

How did you have yours set up and what were your Mods when you ran them? Have not had a chance to mess with the set I got yet.

The 28MM TM flatslides are great carbs. You should have excellent low end and great pull through the RPM range. I run pretty close the same set up you are running except for I use the airbox. On my:

Shee I run 20 pilots and 300 mains with FMF's

RZshee I run 20 pilots, a different needle jet, and 340 mains with Rockets.

Maintain your jetting checks and see what works best.

wow 380-390 is pretty damn big. thats what I was going to use with a 30mm and pods. and 30 pilot seems big too. Id run a 27.5 where Im at, but thats my opinion. I get my jets for jet r us or local shop for ike 2-2.50 ea or somethin like that.

The setup I listed is what I run with my mods, which are pretty close to his mods.

380-390 mains??? I was running 340 mains at sea level on an aggresive dune port with CPI's, so 380's on a trail port with Pro-Circuits is HUGE!

Dont know what to tell ya. We have 3 bikes running those carbs, all are jetted about the same, and all have been ran on the dyno too. They are setup where they make the most hp, and then fine tuned for the best pull out on the sand.

I also used to Run a JD Racing Ported 350 with FMF Gold Series Pipes on bored stock carbs at 390-400 main jets in them.
