Wildcardracing
Pull your clutch cover and check the discs and steels, install 3 HD springs and redo your plug chop. I would also say if you're looking for more of a mid to top hit and a lot more power you need to consider some CPI or Shearer pipes instead of the FMF's. I would second this! when I got my 4mil put together I had kinda the same thing going I was running LRD's on a drag port it had decent bottom to mid but when it hit around 5k or so the power just kinda came or gradually. I ended up buying a set of CPI's put those on there and it improved ALOT! it was a night and day difference but a clutch is alot cheaper if you can get away with it

KaosBanshee44
If you get a new clutch i would install a pancake pusher as well since your going to be disassembling it anyway.

FASTOYS
Really disappointed or my clutch is slipping, New FAST dune port Just reassembled my Banshee. New FAST dune port, 35PWKs, +4 timing, 20cc domes, stock stroke, V3s, pump gas, 155psi and 1300 ft. I have done a plug chop, sync'd carbs and are jetted pretty close to perfect(165 mains)(middle clip on needle). Engine is fully broken in with about 4 tanks of fuel. Seems like it has real deceit low end power than it makes a lot of noise and revs like hell but it seems to have a flat spot in the power then it will finally come on. It will barely out drag my wifes 01 craptor. I hope my clutch is slipping, but it is slipping in mid range. I guess I will try a new clutch from Jeff and hope it gets better. Just not the power rush I expected. Will a clutch slip like this in mid range? I know it is porbably a dumb question because I am still running a low hour 05 stock clutch. If not I think I am ready for a 4mil and a cub. I am afraid my buddies 525 outlaw will smoke me. How much more power would I gain from changing domes and running race fuel? Thanks for any ideas. Wow, All you have to do Gary is give me a call and im here to help. If those cylinders wont smoke the competition i will buy them back! I could sell people my 125 hp cub off my personal bike and if they cant get power to the ground it wont do any good.
flotek
other than your clutch i would say your mains sound big ,wrong pipes for adune port and the carbs are pretty big for a stock stroke dune pumper

Gshock
well did you getting going??? figure out if .... your tires was bald, clutch was bad?? jetting off? Ordered new clutch kit with 5 HD springs, new pancake bearing, new modded shift star, I had new 18" turf tamers on but ordered a new set of Ohtsu radials, and ordered longer carb top adjusters with lighter springs. Will drop mains down to 160 and do another plug chop and see what happens. (maybe go lower-just don't want to have a melt down) Exhaust is next on my list. I would agree, I had a 4mill dune and play port from Jeff,185 PSI, 35 PWK's and only ran 168's and 48 poilets at sea level.
