Like when is our shoutbox going to be returned? Is there anyway to up the bandwidth for the chat? With more than 6 people in it, it lags up to 4 minutes to post I've seen. Most premium members are under the impression paying helps keep the site up, and for future upgrades. We haven't seen anything new in months. Not since you fixed the Porn Bot issues. Whenever there are 100 members on the site we get IPS board error and the site is so slow its impossible to post or search. Is there anyway to get another board color then just blue? I'm posting this in the roosting room because I know many other members that would like the questions answered also. I've talked to Loco and Rippen, and they say they also get no responses from Lee. Post this one up.. With thoughts and idea's. Maybe if Lee see's this something will get done. I know he's rarely on this site anymore. I seen a post on it and it didn't seem to go anywhere from there. The bandwith was not a problem before, but with the growing population here, it needs to be addressed, and quickly. Before paying members like myself start to take our hard earned money elsewhere. Tyler, I understand that you are just learning all about HTML and all that. And I would like to extend my hand and gratuity to you, for taking on the task. But we are giving money to Lee. These are his problems and not yours. As premium members, we are getting ripped off. (buying, selling, trouble shooting, answers, ext.....) Never really cared about the looks, or extras. Some sites will not let you search, send/rec msg's, or even see all the threads without upgrading. The little cost for upgrading was not a huge dent to keep a good thing going with/without the bells and whistles. More like a donation. What he's saying is that he's fine with the site the way it is, and his donation because without the site the people wouldn't be able to share there knowledge. I totally understand that. But this site has over 100 premium members and several sponsors. That more than pays for the site running costs. So the rest should go towards development IMO. Yes it could use a upgrade and yes it should be addressed. Anyone that is PAYING has the right to want change. I do find it funny that the most common response is "use the search" when they know it sucks. Everything needs attention and maintenance. Pay the people that run it more cash for motivation, or hiring outside help if your plate is full. It will only bring in more people and keep others around. Takes money to make money. Yes, If that person makes it possible to get the info I need. We do it everyday. I think of it like what else could I spend $2 $3 per-month on and get the same amount of service? Not much of anything. Even the entertainment drama has a small value. MJ and Daj made my afternoon at work each day fly by this week. I am not disagreeing with anyone, I am saying the reason why I like the site and pay for it. This site made me buy a banshee. This site made it possible to own it and rebuild it, and afford to upgrade it. True it was the people of the site. But the site is like a endless banshee seminar and the membership is the cost of of admission. Worth it. Not to mention that I have personally put over 2k in other Members pockets in the last 6 months buying parts. So again....3 bucks is change to what I saved. Including you Tyler. saying youre getting ripped off is ridiculous. $30 a year for endless banshee info is a rip off? even if the site NEVER changes again, i will still feel like im getting my moneys worth. some people know ive been trying to work some things out with lee on the site. ive been doing everything i possibly can to make it better, but the bottom line is i dont know everything and i dont have access to some stuff. until lee puts me in that position or me and him can make a deal on the site, i dont know what else can happen. ive emailed him many times. i will again and let him know members are not happy. maybe that will motivate him to do something. i hate to see members pissed off, but you need to step back and see what youre getting with HQ. NO other forum out there gives you the freedom HQ does. if youre pissed, take your ass on over to PS and see how far you get. i dont mean to sound like a dick, but everyone has it pretty fucking good here. lowbuckracing Posted March 28, 2009 Report Share Posted March 28, 2009 This site has helped increase my banshee knowledge 100 fold since I joined a lil over a year ago.I have met people from all over the United states in person because of this site and have gained some very good friendships out of it.Those are things that are priceless.Small things like the shout box,searches and chat rooms are the little things that some people really enjoy and it keeps them coming back so if there is any way to have these upgrade that would be awesome.Should someone that is into Banshees as much as we are buy this site and make improvments?It would be nice to know someone running this site cares as much about it as I and other members do.Im willing to put up the first 100 dollars to help someone else buy it and do improvments,Ive planned to be a life time member since the minute I found this site and would love someone with lots of computer knowledge and has the same drive for the Banshee to run it..My 2 Cents..JB and I do give props to all the mods who do help run this site..Thanks,Guys!
