MarineNYC Posted March 25, 2009 Report Share Posted March 25, 2009 My good friend just picked up a 09 Yam 450R. He wants new rear tires. I run the razr2's and are extrremely happy with them. Not one puncture over 2 seasons and I beat the shit out of them. I just picked up a brand new set of rears. Now I hear people talking about those new GNCC tires. Im sticking with my RAZRS but I I just dont know what to recommend my friend. He wants the Razr2's because he knows I stand by them but if there is anything better out there for him please let me know. TY for your time. Around here is rocky but sometimes we travel to Pen. and it gets real rocky. I never has a issue with my Razrs2s. Do you think if I went to the GNCC's my bike would be faster? The razor2s are one of the toughest tires out there, but Im running the razor right now, third pair I've had and have had no problem with traction anywhere. Now when the time comes, I may go with a radial tire, just have to find a tough one. If they are superior then Y doesnt the majority run them? to be honest look around.. not many people have them rmatv and motosport dont.. i checked earlier. ive seen them run on a couple hillclimb bikes in MN and they hooked pretty hard. i just think most people dont know about them.. I think cuz they dont advertise them as the best tire like razrs do.
