Overboost
just put pro circuit platinum pipes and KN pods on today. bike was bone, utter stock right down to the tors. fires right up, first kick, no choke or nothing, rode it across my yard, expecting what it did last year when it was stock and holy FUCK... I cant keep the front wheels on the ground in first gear, never got into second and it just rips and tears. I dont know what you people are thinking when you think that pipes and filters are not enough, it scared the living shit out of me. almost scared to take it on the trails now, if it is going to do that all day, I was on grass but so what. sand and dirt wont be as bad but what about the dunes. whoa...... I knew it would make a difference but not THAT kind of difference. and I still have a 15 tooth sprocket on it, I was going to do a 13, not now.... so now what, do I need a swing arm to keep it from popping wheelies all day? crustydemon
The scared feeling will wear off in a few hours of riding, then it wont be enough because its never enough. You'll see... It never ends.

DallasGDub
x3 on the above comments. You will be wanting more this time next year, maybe even before then. It is a thrill that never gets old to say the least.
Overboost
Did you rejet your carbs? yes, I got an extra set, did my research, jetted them up and changed carbs, filters and pipes as a unit. runs WAY better than before, even at idle. no more cold blooded. I used to have to let it warm up and ride it around the parking lot before I could "ride" it, not anymore, fire it up, wait 10 seconds and go, runs great. are the stock pipes THAT limited? What did you expect, you put the most powerful low-mid pipes on it that they make for a banshee.
quikshee
No more cold blooded. I used to have to let it warm up and ride it around the parking lot before I could "ride" it When I first bought my bike it did the same exact thing, wouldn't go for shit when cold. I could putt around without any problems, but when i'd try and get movin it would bog and wanna stall until it warmed up completely. After it warmed up it would rip as much as a bone stocker can rip. Overboost
What did you expect, you put the most powerful low-mid pipes on it that they make for a banshee. I expected an increase in power, but man, what a difference. now it is time for a cool head, got one picked out from NOSS on the site here. this is like when I went from my neon to my corvette.... LS1Inferno
im glad your happy LOL and with a 15 front what rear and tires are you running? and for god sake DO NOT i repeat DO NOT, just get on it, start and go. let it warm for at leas a minute. you will wear out the top end and it could seize pistons, its really bad for the bikes.
