Facetious
So I pretty much destroyed one of the ball joint boots on my 450 a-arms I'm modding for my banshee. Anyone have a line on a good place to get replacements? I figure I might as well replace them all while I'm at it.

I just finished putting on my yfz arms on my banshee this weekend and ran in to the same problem and no dealer within 60 miles had new ball joints in stock then one of my buddys told me to check the local parts store and what do you know you can buy a new ball joint dust boot for $5 for a two pack and the 1/2 shaft size fits nice and snug. good luck
Facetious
Thank you much. I'll give them a try. I saw that cascade innovations sells a 4 pack of boots for stock banshee joints for 15 bucks. I am gonna measure my old banshee boots and see if the dimensions match up too. Facetious
FYI, the stock banshee dust boots fit the yfz 450 ball joints perfectly. I just finished robbing them from my old arms. Anyone looking for stock banshee a-arms w/o boots? lol Edited March 24, 2009 by Facetious
2003LimitedBanshee
FYI, the stock banshee dust boots fit the yfz 450 ball joints perfectly. I just finished robbing them from my old arms. Anyone looking for stock banshee a-arms w/o boots? lol On a couple kits I have put together, the knuckleheads removing the a-arms destroyed the ball joints, boots/threads etc. That's always nice from the biz perspective to find out there is an added undisclosed cost when you buy core parts. I found factory replacements on eBay for $17 shipped here a while back. I know that'smore than the $5 setup, but if you're looking factory, that is another option.
