jbooker82
There is a kit that you can buy that will convert your J arm frame to an A arm frame. I dont know if it is still being made or not. josh
TJScott
if the kit is unavailable i have no choice but to get an a arm frame. my socket popped out today and i am NOT risking that happening again. if new j-arms were available at a fair price then we would be talking. What is the rock bottom price you would be willing to sell a frame for? And, would you be willing to take my Red powdercoated J-Arm frame for some money off? 2. What am I looking at for shipping living in Hurley, Mo?

kb247
A arm conversion not worth it, by the time you buy the kit,if you can find one, get it welded and so on you'd come out ahead getting an a-arm frame. If that does not work for you check out stellarmachineandperformance.com I see he custom makes J-arms that you can install changeable ball joints on them, just not sure of the price on them. SAVAGE420
Almost at the bottom of the page is the a-arm conversion weld in kit. http://www.atvracing1.com/a-arms.htm But by the time you buy it and get it welded on, you could have a fresh a-arm frame already. Unless you weld it on your self or from a friend that knows what hes doing it would be cheaper to do the conversion and you dont need to swap everything over if your in a time bind. Edited March 22, 2009 by savage420
TJScott
i figured it out to cost $420 for a frame and all a-arms as opposed to like $300 for all arms with the conversion kit. I will be welding myself. Edited March 22, 2009 by TJScott
