killshee
mine is a 93 and it has chain break and the clutch is about to go and also could use a new set of rings soon. my plastics are all crap. and my pipes are rusted and shity. i kno its a good bike bc i kno the guy and he has had it. sence it was brand new. and its alot nicer than mine i think its a 1999, could be newer. im not sure its all blue, and it looks like brand new. he said if i wanted to hear it run. i could start it up but the bearing will make a bunch of noise. sredish
he doesn't want my banshee i just dont have enough to buy his. hes not like advertising it or anything but like i do think i want to buy it. he said 1800 i don't get what the benefit of it is... selling yours to get another.... and it needs work. what is wrong with yours that makes you wanna sell it? if it's pipes you want, save just a little and buy some nice used ones.... Michael Jackson
i dont know man.. im no mechanic.. but something tells me if it has bad crank bearings.. there has to be SOMETHING else thats bad... i just cant see a bike being 100% perfect, other than bad crank bearings.. if he hasnt split the cases yet how does he know something else isnt wrong in there? Keyser Soze
1800 is to much to be splitting cases. Your putting out 1800 and taking a chance nothing is wrong. Everyone has chain breaks? no biggy. Put in a new clutch 40 bucks....by some good looking used pipes $250. Get some used plastic in good shape or paint yours. 250Rho
fixing it all the time is the mark of a two smoke and its half the fun id say. if your a good enough mechanic to split the cases yourself then the only thing your risking is having to get a new crank and rebuild the top end. and ya that will cost you your left testicle. take somebody from a dealership or somebody that is good or just your buds to listen to it then make a decision. That's the way it goes man....I'd keep the one ya got and just keep fixing stuff as it goes bad and just save save save until you can get some new or newer/diff used parts...Keep your eyes posted to the for sale section and ebay to get what you need and also Jeff at FAST.. killshee
i would be doing all the work myself. and also i kno that fixing is part of a 2stroke but mine breaks way to much im lucky if i get a good 2 days of riding b4 it breaks and sits a week. the guy who had it b4 me beat the shit out of it. its like bad i dont think u realize what i mean i have always owned 2strokes and done all my own work to them and i never dumped this much money in less than a year like i said its one thing after another. my buddy has a le banshee and doesnt have anywere near the amount of problems i do i think i should just start fresh. b4 for i buy a 4stroke. bc i hate downtime and i cant stand going without a quad. DallasGDub
My bad, I misunderstood. Seems a little steep for a non running bike. How well do you know him to say that is all that is wrong with it?
