mofoka
Is the stock jet needle adjustable? Or is that something I need to buy aftermarket? Anyone know the part number to ask the dealer???
Michael Jackson
yea theres different grooves on it that u can chnage the clip to and lean or richen it up, you gota pull the springs up above the slide, hold it upside down and take the retaining clips off and that will let u get the needle out and youll see what im talkin about if you move the clip up a groove towards the blunt end, that will lean it out if you move the clip down a grove towards the pointy end that will richen it Edited March 19, 2009 by Michael Jackson
mofoka
I'm glad that I won't have to buy different needles like on my street bike. thanks again MJ
sleeper06
Street bikes suck with that whole fixed needle senario
mofoka
I know the kits have some nice extras, but I'm only looking to richen the mid and top. So if I can adjust the needle and swap my mains ($10-20) its a lot cheaper than one of those 50-100 dollar kits. My gxsr just cost me 90 bones for one!
